The top three books I read in 2018 were all fiction. Let’s try something different this year - I’ll give my recomendations on best time of the year to read these books.

1. The Night Circus

“Night Circus” was haunting and beautiful. It should be read at night and preferably in winter, it’s a great setting.

2. Circe

“Circe” feels like a summer book, so I recommend reading during summer nights. You’ll feel like getting into some sort of potion brewing after reading this one. I’d read anything from Madeline Miller at this point.

3. American Gods

I listened to this book over a period of a couple of months. The narration is great, and the book can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
