- Top Three 2021 - The best books I read in 2021
1. The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany
At 57+ hours, this is the longest book I’ve ever listened to. It took me months, but it was worth it. This should be required reading for anyone with even the slightest curiousity about history.
2. Greenlights
Don’t get the physical copy of Matthew McConaughey’s autobiography, this one is meant to be listened to. I’m not convinced that the stories he tells are 100% accurate, but even if they aren’t, he’s had a really neat life – even without the acting career.
3. Sid Meier’s Memoir!
A fascinating look at the career of Sid Meier, creator of one of the most popular computer games of all time, Civilization. If you like video games, especially those from the 1980’s/90’s, this is a must read.
